On Friday, September 6, kindergarten and first grade students at South Toe Elementary attended an author visit sponsored by the Carolina Mountains Literary Festival. Authors Lauren Conrad and Constance Lombardo presented their books, This is Window and Itty Bitty Betty Blob, respectively. In addition to the presentation, each student took home copies of the authors' books thanks to the Mountain Air Community Fund.
